Leads the analysis of vendor proposals, participates in the formulation of the project plan, coordinate vendors, build and conduct tests, and tracks progress. Responsible for all aspects of Linux system administration including security, patching, troubleshooting OS/hardware issues, performance tuning, virtualization, and clustering for multi-geographical and multi-application environment. Provides technical leadership to project teams by designing and supporting hardware and Linux solutions in support of project specifications Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teammates, excellent documentation skills Supports RHEL HPC cluster for Product Development Group modeling simulations Supports multiple environments with IBM WebSphere environments and RHEL Clusters for IBM DB2 Support for Sterling Connect:Enterprise environment, including all associated file transfer mechanisms (Connect:Direct, SSH, PGP, SSL, etc).
