Job Description:
Job Title : Cognos BI 10 Upgrade Expert / Cognos Developer
Location : City: Lansing, State: MI - Michigan
Must Haves
. Upgrading from Cognos 8 BI to Cognos 10 BI in one or more clients.
. Worked with various functionalities of Cognos 10 BI such as Business
Insight and Business Insight Advanced.
. Will be expected to migrate Cognos framework models and report studio
reports to Cognos 10.
. Knowledgeable of best practices using Cognos 10 BI (framework manager,
report studio, query studio, and analysis studio).
. Will be expected to mentor colleagues and be proactive in developing
colleague skill sets to have a better understanding of framework manager,
query studio, analysis studio, and report studio in Cognos 10 BI.
. Higher Education experience (particularly HR and Finance)
Additional desired qualifications
. Upgrading from Cognos 8 Enterprise Planning to Cognos 10 Enterprise
planning on one or more clients
. Experience in designing and supporting development of dimensional models
off transactional systems
Primary Skills : Business Intelligence - BI ,Cognos
Secondary Skills : --NA--
Project Duration : 6 months +
Scheduled Start Date : 4/9/2012
