This is javeed from *SureIT Solutions Inc*, which is an International IT Service Provider / Consulting Firm and helps premier clients all over the United States and Canada in application development, executive recruitment, enterprise mobility and consulting services. *Reply to :-javeedma.sur...@gmail.com * Our client is currently looking for Oracle DBA w/SAP Experience *Location : Houston, TX Length : 6 months * The SAP Database Administrator is a contributing member of the Database Management Services Team and works closely with the SAP BASIS team. Responsibilities include: • Providing Oracle 10/11 database administration, database security and production support, primarily in a UNIX environment • Installing, upgrading and maintaining of the Oracle databases • Planning and executing of database backup and recovery • Providing database tuning for performance and stability • Managing physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring • Using the corporate change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages • Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and Enterprise operational requirements • Partnering with other groups to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user • This position participates in an on-call rotation with other DBA's to provide 24X7 coverage Basic/Required: • 5+ years of direct DBA experience working with Oracle • 2+ years of direct support of one or more SAP on Oracle databases • Experience with ABAP Workbench and SAP transactions for job scheduling, database tuning/statistics, and creation of data dictionary objects • 5+ years of direct IT experience providing server support, database support or application programming • Good diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving for Oracle • Good interpersonal and written communication skills • Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively • Ability and willingness to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as carry an on call pager for at least one week every 6 to 8 weeks Preferred: • Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) • Experience with configuring and managing Oracle Data Guard standby databases • Experience with configuring and managing databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) • Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) using command-line and OEM • Experience with Oracle Diagnostic and/or Tuning Packs for Oracle databases • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or other IT/IS related major • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Expert diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving for Oracle • Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement *Thanks & Regards,* Javeed Talent Acquisition Executive SureIT Solutions Inc. 1801 W Queen Creek RD | Suite # 3 | Chandler | AZ 85248 ( 602-218-8461|6866-322-0121 www.sureitinc.com .
