·         Ability to administer *SharePoint* to include installing and
configuring medium web farm topology and design/deploy/secure/administer
the current and future multiple *SharePoint* farms

·         Practical experience in creating and running Disaster Recovery
and backup strategies for*SharePoint*

·         *SharePoint* 3.0 Central Administrator

·         Structured Query Language (SQL)

·         SQL Server 2005 and above

·         Web farms topology (e.g. web front-end, index servers, database
servers, load balancer)

·         Maintaining and administering Windows Server 2003

·         Active Directory and Group Policy

·         Understanding of Web 2.0 Collaboration; Information Sharing and
Knowledge Management

·         Technical competence in the following Web environments is a big
plus: IIS, IBM Websphere,*SharePoint* Portal

·         A solid understanding of Windows foundations and framework
strongly preferred

·         Knowledge of best practices in Web systems including security,
performance, standards, procedures, controls, and Web technical design and
architecture



*Primary Responsibilities*



·         Design/Implement/Manage *SharePoint* backend infrastructure

·         Perform post-installation *SharePoint* configuration

·         Apply patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates

·         Modify *SharePoint* configuration, as needed, to support
enhancements and integration with other applications, such as SSRS

·         Configure and execute *SharePoint* and SQL Server backup/recovery
process

·         Coordinate with the network and server administrators and the
DBA(s) to ensure the health of the environment remains stable and
operational

·         Create, configure, and maintain Shared Service Providers to
enable and enhance site search functionality, including search server

·         Troubleshoot, track incidents/problems, work with clients for
resolution

·         Create technical specifications and support documentation

·         Address the technical questions/needs of management, technical
staff, and the *SharePoint*end-user community in a timely and professional
manner
