Duties & Responsibilites :

The Email Specialist Business Analyst I in Business Operations will interact with internal business partners, address ticket queues containing requests for new emails and modifications to existing emails, and provide daily reporting on progress. He/she is responsible for meeting dates he/she provides to internal business partners and overseeing day to day deliverables with the internal team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Job Functions

• Build, troubleshoot and deploy service emails in support of company products
• Build, troubleshoot and deploy marketing emails in support of company products
• Support production launches for service emails
• Provide level of effort, track progress and deadlines of projects in work queue
• Interface with analysts and developers to gather requirements
• Be able to understand and report on metrics for service email deliverability
• Provide knowledge for production support and resolution of issues
• Complete tasks assigned by high ranking team members or manager
• Be aware of and be able to provide guidance on email marketing industry standards
• Adhere to team code guidelines, development standards and best practices

Technical skills:
• Web development experience in: Web interface design and development; Browser technologies and behaviors; HTML
• Knowledge of the role the email service provider (ESP)
• Development experience with Dreamweaver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Problem solving skills, including ability to:
• Think out-of-box and not to be limited to existing designs and implementation
• Provide attention to detail and ability to recognize and flag issues

Organizational skills including ability to:
• Meet expectations at all levels proactively and effectively
• Escalate issues proactively and effectively
• Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Quick learner with go-getter attitude, team player
• Complete tasks that were committed to the supervisor
• Communicate accurately and promptly if more time and resource are needed for tasks
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure, multitasking, and to meet deadlines
