| Duties & Responsibilites : | Role: Sr .NET Developer Location: Southlake, TX Length: 12 month rolling contract Environment: .NET 3.5/4.0, C#, WPF, MVC ( all of these are must have skills) Responsibilities / Duties: • Work on developing, diagnosing and tuning .NET applications. • Under general supervision, develops, codes, tests and debugs new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity. Has good understanding of business application. • Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software technical documentation. Demonstrates software. • Designs and codes moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology. • May create optimization programs to resolve problems; May design and build prototype applications Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS: • More than 5 years of experience in .NET programming, • Expert knowledge of .NET development in C# • Expert knowledge of web development: HTML, JS, AJAX, CSS • Experience on Win Forms and Web forms using .NET 3.5/4.0, WCF, WPF, Windows Services • Experience in building multi-tier applications (user interface, intermediate layer, and database). • Experience with WebServices (SOAP, REST) • Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Simple Design • Broad knowledge of development tools & techniques, • Code Quality & Metrics, Unit testing, build automation, Continuous Integration • Software Architecture Design • Ability to solve problems quickly • Unix/Linux experience on user level is a must • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Positive attitude Additional experience in the following would be a plus: • SOA, Spring.NET/NHibernate, PHP, ExtJS and Virtualization • Familiarity with Windows 8 Metro, WinRT and the Metro Application Model • Read and understand iOS/Objective-C • Python or other dynamic languages programming skills EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent |
