| Duties & Responsibilites : | The electronic filing of court documents for the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, coordinating activities with the selected vendor and internal business owners. Selective internal projects involving (office automation/development) groups. These may include Novell to Active Directory migration, support and continued development of the Supreme Court’s Website The PM will be required to directly interact with JIS managers responsible for these projects, document the status, measure the performance and identify risks in meeting target dates. The project manager - level 3, should have 6 to 8 or more years of overall experience. Skills required MS-Project, Application and software portfolio management, 1.Strong project management discipline knowledge and experience operating within a structured multi-person project management team 2.Experience with project portfolio management and performing project admission evaluation (project impact, risk analysis, etc.) 3.Experience with organizations implementing formal PM disciplines for the first time 4.Solid working knowledge of PM software tools including Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office productivity suite [required] a.Prior working experience using SharePoint for team collaboration is highly beneficial 5.2-3 years of practical PM experience where 75% or greater of projects managed are primarily IT related, personal project portfolio including the areas below a.Software development b.Infrastructure Experience Required •Documented experience in successfully managing multiple, concurrent IT projects •6-8 years of recent IT project management experience •Experience in analyzing, validating and documenting project scopes •Participation on project teams that were responsible for the implementation of Enterprise Applications Solutions •Ability to work independently •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Must be willing to work extra hours, as necessary •Mentoring team members with project management techniques. Education required Bachelors in IT or related field, with PMP Certification |
