Job Description: Role: SharePoint Developer Job Type: Fulltime Desired Experience: 5-7 years Location: Commerce, CA Required Technical Skill Set: .NET, SharePoint Rates: Open (Market rate) Roles and Responsibilities. * Design and Coding of SharePoint. * Oversee the SharePoint Portal Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment. * Understand, all features, workflows, functionalities, technologies, add-on's, web parts, solutions, application services and benefits of what SharePoint provides OOB or through simple to advanced customization. * Understand, analyze and provide recommendations for improvement of existing processes and process integration with SharePoint while translating Business/Department needs into features and customizations for their sites. * Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) * Prioritize assignments, handles shifting deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team environment. Must-Have * Sound knowledge of architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices. * Sound knowledge of implementation and customization of SharePoint based solutions. * Good understanding of Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform. * Development of custom web parts. Good-to-Have * Good understanding of the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies. * Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Development. * Experience with Web Services (WCF). * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. * Experience showing ability to work both independently and as an effective team member. * Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines.
