 Job Description

·         *Messaging and SQL - don’t want MQ administrators or Database
administrators, ideally should be a developer who does not want to be a
developer but has written code to use MQ and has done SQL code as well.*
System Support Engineer This position provides level 1 to level 2
application support for systems that support payment investigations.

·         Provide representation and/or assistance for projects/meetings.
Document software changes, technical processes and procedures.

·         Develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and improve the
technical processes.

·         Apply analytical skills and knowledge of systems and processes to
learn new systems, applications, processes and techniques.

·         Ability to understand business needs from a variety of sources,
asking detailed questions to get the correct information, identify possible
solutions and explain both clearly in verbal and written communications.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are required.
Excellent follow up skills are required. Applicant must have the ability to
multi-task to work on several issues/problems simultaneously.

·         Proven ability to learn and use tools for analysis. Proven
ability to troubleshoot issues, find solutions under pressure, bring
closure to issues, determine root causes and solve complex problems
independently within appropriate time frames.

·         Technical Skills File transfer protocols: Should know how to
perform SCP, FTPS, SFTP from the command line using SSL certificates for
authentication.

·         Will be tested. Messaging

·         IBM Websphere MQ --- a must and will be tested. Things like
transactioning, explicit client confirm, vs. autoconfirm. Shared queue vs.
dedicated queue, queue manager to queue manager channels

·         Local vs. remote queue, etc. Database

·         SQL skills to pull data from Oracle 11g Database and MS SQL a
must and will be tested. Operating Systems

·         Red Hat Linux - general Unix skills, will be tested.
