* * *Position: Tester 3* *Location: Harrisburg, PA* *Duration: till 30/06/2014* *Rate: $38/hr* *Candidate Should face In person Interview* COMPLETE DESCRIPTION: Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures. Resolve testing process questions / issues. Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments. Coordinate and execute assembly or product tests with the Test Team, Application Team and the Program Manager. Assist Team Lead or Test Team Lead in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks. Define and utilize entry / exit criteria for testing. The individual will be responsible for the following: 1. Working closely and under the supervision of the Departments lead tester 2. Creation of test scripts, scenarios and conditions. 3. Executing the test scripts, scenarios and conditions. 4. Managing the defect tracking and updating the defects as applicable 5. Perform retesting of defects 6. Working with several technical and non-technical teams in the test script creation, execution, and defect resolution. 7. Provide summary and detail reports as needed on the testing effort. Candidates must have strong software testing experience and solid analytical skills. Creating test scripts, scenarios, and conditions when given documentation and access to resources is paramount. Excellent communication and documentation skills, and experience with testing activities throughout the entire SDLC is a must.
