| Duties & Responsibilites : | Team Size: 5-6 Senior Developers. This individual will be looked to for Mentoring in some cases, but there is no central Team Lead. Environment: 1.6+, RMI, JSP, Crystal Reports( Xcelsius), JQuery, Spring, SOAP, SQL, Oracle, Business Objects XI Web Intelligence, BO Data Integrator, JBoss/ Torqubox, Maven, JUnit, Python, Coffeescript, Ruby On Rails, Windows/Linux, Cloud, Oracle 10g Overview: Our client delivers a comprehensive portfolio of technology and high-end services capable of meeting the demands of the most complex and important systems in the world. They engineer, deploy and manage mission-critical solutions for government, including homeland security, criminal justice, defense and civilian agencies within the U.S. Federal Government and at state and local levels. Principal Responsibilities: •Develop customer facing applications in Ruby on Rails and Java that will be used for self service purposes, ie password resets, subscriber changes •Participate in clouding initiatives •Create SQL queries to push and pull data from various sources •Utilize Business Objects for reporting and data functioning •Utilize API’s to allow clients to make their own changes in applications •Integration and pulling data from Oracle and Linux Required: •3-4 years experience with Ruby on Rails development •Experience developing SQL queries •1-2 years of Java development experience •Ability to multi task and work on multiple projects simultaneously •Experience with API’s Preferred: •Experience with BO Data Integrator, Web Intelligence, and Xcelsius •Java Development experience |
