*Title : Release Engineer* *Duration : 7 Months*
*Location : DEARBORN,MI* *Position Description:* - The software release manager will be a liaison amongst the Agile project teams in the GOTD program to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of software updates. This role is responsible for the deployment and packaging of changes in the GOTD environments. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the source control repositories, as well as the Software Configuration Processes in the program. This role manages, integrates and maintains in synchronous mode the various environments using code and data. Responsibilities include: managing issues in AccuRev coordinating with the developers to ensure code changes are in AccuRev monitoring automated builds delivering the build packages to HTEAM promoting the AccuRev change packages ensuring the SQL Server database changes are coordinated with the J2EE Build and Deploys determine the gaps in the current SCM process and skill sets that must be closed to implement release management best practices; identify a plan for closing the gaps *Skills Required:* - Minimum 5 years of experience as a release/software configuration manager - Prior experience identifying and implementing release management processes and process improvements - Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills are mandatory - Automated build and test experience - Experience implementing CI - Working knowledge of technical architectures and iterative development cycles *Experience Required:* - Minimum 5 years of experience as a release/software configuration manager - Prior experience identifying and implementing release management processes and process improvements - Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills are mandatory - Automated build and test experience - Experience implementing CI - Working knowledge of technical architectures and iterative development cycles *Experience Preferred:* - Previous AccuRev experience strongly preferred - Java Development and SQL Server experience - Infrastructure Architecture knowledge - Prior experience with Agile *Education Required:* - B.S.
