Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelors degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works under general supervision. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department The Active Directory and/or Exchange SME is a senior information technology professional who analyzes existing x86/x64 architectures and workloads and designs new or complementary solutions, implements solutions, and troubleshoots any residual issues after implementation. The engineer will participate in early project discovery to understand the current mode of operation (CMO). The Engineer will then participate in the evaluation of those workloads and create a Future Mode of Operation (FMO) Design that aligns with the company’s service catalog. The Active Directory and/ or Exchange SME Engineer will concentrate on high-level server related duties such as system architecture, network design and dependencies, selection of physical replacement devices and assessment of virtualization feasibility, lead troubleshooting activities for outages and/or performance issues during implementation of said design. The Engineer will lead administrative resources in the implementation of the prescribed design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Experience working in a Datacenter Environment • Maintenance and update of Microsoft software solutions at customer’s site, while following defined methodology, processes, system requirements and customer specific needs. • Work directly with onsite support team to assist with any technical questions regarding all Microsoft Exchange platforms. • Work closely and have direct interaction with Atos IT support team and the customer development team. • Ensure that all components of the technical server architecture are functioning properly and efficiently at all sites. • Assist customers and their vendors with configuration requirements for all Microsoft software in their environment. • Provide technical expertise of the Active Directory 2003/2008 and Exchange 2007/2010/2013, implementation methodology and/or related technology. • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise when working with the product and/or client systems, and provide quick turnaround. • Conduct systems testing for performance and reliability. • Troubleshoot questions and problems associated with the configuration, administration, and management of users in the entire Microsoft System Infrastructure. • Assist with projects, installations, and change management as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the client’s environment and infrastructure. • Perform server system maintenance across all sites as required. • The SE is expected to manage the customer relationship and expectations, communicate effectively, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Participate in training classes, or special projects as required. • Afterhours and weekend support required. • Other roles and responsibilities may be assigned on an as needed basis. • Effectively manage time and maintain regular communication and updates to both customer and management. • Document accounting of activities and time on a daily basis with timely submission of reports and expenses per Atos company guidelines. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Requirements Education and Experience: *** Must have a minimum of five - seven years of proven experience with the following technical areas. *** • Microsoft Server Installation and Configuration – Active Directory, IIS, SNMP, Migration Services • Active Directory 2008 and Exchange Migration 2010/2013 Experience • Microsoft Security – Active Directory, Security Policies, Hardening, Encryption, GPOs • Disaster Recovery of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange • XenApps and XenDesktop with VDI Technology • Server Load Balancing and Clustering experience • Server Hardware and Application Performance Monitoring • System Center Suite (Configuration Manager and Operations Monitoring) • VMWare knowledge a plus • Maintenance – Backups and Recovery, SQL Agent, Analysis Services • SQL Security • Disaster Recovery – SQL Replication and Mirroring • Scripting – Basic Query and Update knowledge a plus • Experience on Microsoft SQL databases on back end is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology Discipline and 6 or more years professional experience • 8+ years of Senior Windows Administration • Proven Experience migrating legacy Windows servers to modern virtual environments using products like VMconverter or PlateSpin • In depth understanding of distributed networks • Significant experience in the administration of SSL certs, • MCSE certifications in Messaging preferred. -- Thanks & Regards, * * *Rakesh N | * *Infolob Solutions Inc.| * Ph: 972-535-5559 Ext 111 | Fax: 888-228-4125 | Email: rakes...@infolob.com |www.infolob.com | *A MBE COMPANY | ORACLE PLATINUM PARTNER COMPANY* * * Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
