*Role*: *SQL Developer with .Net Exp* Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 6 months Interview: Telephonic Start Date: Immediate Requirement Description: ROLE: SQL Developer with .Net Exp *The project needs candidates that have strong SQL skills along with SSIS and SSRS. * *SQL/SSIS/SSRS(70%) + .Net development(C#, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>)-30%* We are looking for an experienced .Net developer with strong SQL skills who can write complex SQL queries, stored procedures for data extraction and reporting purposes. This role also requires strong .Net programming capability to develop tools to support running automatic batch jobs. The candidate must have experience in data analysis, technical design and development of programs using SQL server and C#. Responsibilities: • Understand business needs and design/develop technical solutions • Communicate clearly and effectively to the technical lead of progress, issues, and risks • Analyze and design stored procedures and SSIS packages • Develop custom components for SSIS using C# • Deploy and maintain SSIS packages • Design and develop SQL Server Stored Procedures • Performance tuning of queries and SSIS packages Required Skills: • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent • 2+ years’ experience in developing applications using C# • 3+ years’ experience in SQL Server 2008 Database Programming • 3+ years’ experience in development of stored procedures, views, and other objects required to transform, translate, retain, and aggregate data for complex data conversion requirements • 3+ Years’ experience using SQL Server Integration Services • Prior experience in performance tuning of SSIS packages • Highly proficient in Transact SQL, stored procedures, functions and SQL queries • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Strong Analytical Skills Desired Skills: • Experience working on public sector projects desired • Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services • Experience in cleansing, mapping, and transforming Bulk Data Migration on large scale projects with more than 50 million records for a period of five (5) years or more. • Experience with IDMS and/or DB2 BSM Additional Comments: The project needs candidates that have strong SQL skills along with SSIS and SSRS.
