*Requirement: Oracle Data Modeler* *Location : NYC* *Term: Contract* The job requirements are as follows: • Model and design an Oracle Data Warehouse using industry best practices and methodologies. Model and design an Oracle OLTP system using industry best practices and methodologies • Design the data model of all data warehousing layers including staging, Operational Data Store, Data Warehouse, and dimensional data marts. Model and design OLTP application database Review existing data models and offer design improvements. • Model and design dimensional data models (star schemas) to be used for business intelligence reporting and analysis. • Design and develop ETL architecture to integrate data from multiple data sources into a centralized data warehouse. • Design optimal data models required for high performing data warehouse and ETL processes. • Maintain updates to all data models along with metadata and data dictionary. • Translate client user requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plan. • Work with client technical representatives to validate requirements and design decisions. • At least 5 years of experience in data modeling for complex, large-volume data warehouses business intelligence , and OLTP systems. • Ability to model and design a complete Data Warehousing solution in a business intelligence environment. Skilled in applying industry best practices to design an optimal data warehousing model. • Skilled in using data modeling tools such as Erwin, sql developer to design the conceptual, logical, and physical models. • Expertise in developing data models for all data warehousing layers including staging, Operational Data Store, Data Warehouse, and dimensional data marts. • Proficient in both relational and dimensional data modeling. • Experience in assessing and validating existing data models and make recommendations for improvements. • Solid knowledge of development methodologies and project life cycles. • Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
