We are seeking a well-qualified and experienced DRUPAL Software Engineer.
This candidate’s primary responsibility will be to participate in the
development of the front-end for the proof of concept of a new cloud based
and will be working as part of a cross-functional project team. The
Software Engineer’s responsibility to the team is to design, implement, and
test solutions that result in compelling, easy to use products and provide
an amazing user experience to the users of the service. We are looking for

*REQUIREMENTS*
- Languages: *Drupal*, PHP, Python, HTML5, *AJAX/JavaScript*, *jQuery*,
JSON, XML, SQL
- DevOps Experience: Basic Linux administration skills Installing and
Deploying LAMP environment: KVM or Xen, libvirt, *Git*, *Jenkins*, *Chef*
or *Puppet*
- Good understanding of Agile Software Development life cycle
- Knowledge of UX methodologies and experience in front-end interface
design with a strong focus on User Experience.
- Drupal module development experience and an extensive knowledge of the
Drupal core API and hook system.
- Experience with Git & GitHub.
- Excellent understanding of OOD and OOP with strong technical and
design skills
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to drive features to delivery

space and seeks Technical Leads/Senior Developers to join its team.
The developers will work in fast paced agile environment and should be
self-motivated and be able to think out of box.
Responsibilities
- Understand the business requirements and create detailed design
- Develop quality code to meet the design and functionality in an agile
scrum environment
- Conduct vendor selections and Proof of Concepts
- Create unit test cases and test the code
- Generate test data and stubs as necessary
- Produce documentation on architecture, development, integration,
configuration, and other manuals
Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Sr Developer/Tech lead
- Multiple technology experience: Highly experienced in Java, J2EE,
Integration, SOA/REST Based services, SQL/noSQL databases
- Worked on open source technologies - Groovy/Grails, Spring, Hibernate
- Applied knowledge with SOA Patterns and Topologies

*Job Description:*
SMBC is undertaking a project to replace an existing Payments system with a
new Payment Services solution. To facilitate this rollout, and future
testing, candidates with the following skills/knowledge are sought:
- Automation Test Engineer for JAVA based Montran Money Transfer System
implementation.
- QTP knowledge and Banking/Finance Domain experience is a must.
- Experience working on Money Transfer Systems is a plus.
- Work with offshore teams in Tralee, Ireland
*Required Skills and Experience:*
- Self driven, ability to work alone and also within a team environment,
and familiarity working with offshore teams is a plus
- Strong communication skills and accuracy are essential
- Must be flexible and able to follow potential directional changes
efficiently and effectively as required
- Have proven experience working with software test automation tools,
especially QTP/QC
- The ability to design, create and execute automation test scripts
- Accurately document and report test results and defects to the
established standards
- Strong analytical skills to be able to assist with test case analysis,
improvement and creation
- Able to visualize the program and to learn effectively in order to
quickly assimilate the knowledge required to become a fully functioning
team contributor
- Testing in an end-to-end payment environment (interfaces, payment and
accounting systems, sanctions scanning, SWIFT routing, STP vs repair etc.)
preferable
*Desirable experience*
- Knowledge of International Payment standards is desirable,
particularly as they pertain to EMEA and NA based payment products (Target
II, SEPA/EBA Step2 (SCT and SDD), CHAPS, CHIPS, FED etc.)
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging within the 1 and 2 series and experience
of working on Payment Systems or other wholesale banking back-office
systems a distinct advantage
