Successful Completion Bonus is Available. *Description:* Our Client, one of the leading providers of technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is looking for Java\ADF Developer *Responsibilities* include but are not limited to the following: - Design and develop software applications; - Model software requirements, Design effective User Interfaces; - Produce documentation for software design, development, and testing; - Responsible for software engineering, design, and development of assigned functional areas of Micros products. Tasks include writing functional specifications, design documentation, coding, unit testing, debugging, integration, performance tuning, and maintenance of assigned software modules; - Provide information to documenters, testers and customer service personnel on features and functionality of software modules; - Provide technical support with complex field issues; - Cover all responsibilities of the Software Engineer position; - Work on site with clients; - Act as individual contributor as well as team member; - Work with little supervision, conferring with superiors on unusual or extremely complex matters. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity; - Provide guidance, assistance, and technical leadership to associate level software engineers on more complex/large projects; - Work with product marketing and other Micros personnel to clarify functional requirements, review software designs, etc; - Able to explain software functionality from the users or customers perspective; - Occasionally design and presents technical presentations to a variety of audiences; - Interact internally/externally on an as needed basis to exchange information; - External interfaces include vendor support, engineering groups, project managers, and occasionally customers. *Requirements:* - Experience with software design and development (3+ years); - Experience with Oracle ADF, SOA including BPEL and Web Services; - Experience with appropriate programming languages, databases, and/or operating system technology; - Experience with J2EE, Java application design, MVC pattern, and Oracle ADF; - Experience with: JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, DHTML, Portlets, XML, JavaScript, PL\SQL - Experience with Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g; - Experience in requirements gathering and documentation; - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related, or equivalent combination of foreign post-secondary education.(ideally in computer science or engineering), or equivalent experience.
