*Position Title : Oracle Golden Gate Developer* *Locations: Alpharetta, GA* *Duration: 12 Months +* *Following are the desirable qualities (technical) for a Golden Gate profile :* - The candidate should be proficient in PL/SQL and should be able to work on /create complex queries, have good understanding of SDLC and Oracle database. - Should be able to develop / enhance Oracle packages, stored procedures, functions. - Should have basic knowledge of UNIX and Shell scripting. - Oracle DBA knowledge is advantageous. - Should have good Telecom domain understanding. - Good communication and behavioral skills. *The candidate should also do the following activities :* - Understand various artifacts like Business Requirements, System Requirements, Solutions Approach, High Level Design, Application Design document and accordingly prepare Low Level Design document - Prepare Unit Test Cases and Unit Test Plan *Apart from the above, the candidate should have good knowledge of following Oracle 10.4/11g Golden Gate 11.1.1.1.1 topics :* - Architecture and Topologies: Unidirectional, Bi-directional etc. Golden Gate process (Extracts, Data Pump, Replicates.
