Responsible for continued development of portfolio of projects related to
healthcare. Adheres to enterprise-wide IT project/program management
practices, governance standards, processes and metrics. Ensures
projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and
effective manner. Incorporates effective change and risk management
controls. Partners with IT and business leadership and other key
stakeholders to define opportunities, to identify and prioritize projects
based on predefined criteria (return on investment, productivity,
compliance) as related to healthcare. Directs project/program managers with
business case development as required. Responsible for ensuring all projects
within IT healthcare portfolios/programs are fullt integrated with central
IT portfolio, delivered on time, within budget and to an agreed quality
level. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in project/program
management, portfolio management methodologies and tools. This is a single
incumbent position that typically exists in a large enterprise with multiple
program managers and/or project managers as direct reports.

 

Manage portfolio of contracts and serve as principal point of contact for
renewals, extensions, and expansions of current contract vehicles as well as
work with CCIT and other staff to respond to new opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

.         Portfolio management for complex government health care projects
and budgets with multiple stakeholders. 

.         Manage healthcare service level agreements and contracts.

.         Oversee integration with central CCIT project and service
portfolio as well as research office to streamline operations and manage
resources. Formal reporting and monitoring for compliance with contractual
processes, procedures and policies as well as data analytics and dashboard
development.

.         Work with business staff for requirements for federally mandated
changes as well as state mandated changes. Communicate effectively in both
written and spoken communication.

 

Skills Needed:

.         Experience in contract development, negotiations, and compliance.

.         Public Sector Experience

.         Working knowledge of federal policies, procedures, and guidelines
relating to healthcare.

.         Proficient in project management software and tools.

.         Medicaid experience a plus
