The individual will be working on the client Retirement Plan Services (RPS) applications. Our team supports mainframe and distributed applications. As an ASD lead you will be involved in all stages of support in production and test environments. As a lead of the ASD team you will be expected to perform multiple functions: developer, support analyst, and process subject matter expertise. This position requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems in fast paced environment and a desire to work as part of a geographically dispersed team. *Key responsibilities of this role include*: · Drive sub-teams to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. · Communicate with senior management. · Analyze and report progress of team via reports and dashboards. · As an Application Service Delivery team lead, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mainframe and distributed technology environments. · Perform development, support, and QA roles in Agile environment · Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations · Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. · Read and understand business requirements, write functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs, and build / unit / system test application code. · Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. · Support the changes/applications post implementation and participate in on-call rotation *Qualifications* *Basic Qualifications:* · Minimum of 5 years of proven system analysis, programming, and problem-solving/diagnostic capabilities. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in the ability to assess business requirements, understand and develop technical direction, develop system specifications, and develop solution that meets the requirements. · Minimum of 5 years experience in Distributed Application (Java). · 1-2 years experience with Unix shell scripting, Java or Informatica · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in mainframe and distributed programming · Must work well either independently or as part of a team with a strong desire to excel · Good oral and written communication skills Thanks & Regards *Shilpa * IT Recruiter.
