| Duties & Responsibilites : | -We are looking for a seasoned technical leaders with strong overall generalist experience, not necessarily an expert in 1 specific domain.
-This person must have a broad technical background across development including Java and J2ee.
-They must be able to create solutions for business problems and translate them across all the IT teams in the department.
-They will work with multiple areas such as networking, database teams, server admins and web teams and will be a very high level Technical Leader within the organization.
-They must be a strong collaborator, mediator, problem-solving and have excellent communication skills.
-They should understand the entire picture of the organization and the problem and come up with solutions to the business problems. They need to know about the entire stack of technology from web server down to the database.
Required Skills:
•5 years with Java/J2ee development
•8 years of total overall relevant development and technical experience
•Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills
•Experience working with all technical teams across an IT organization such as networking, database, server admins and web teams to coordinate and create solutions for business problems
Plusses:
•Weblogic
•Web server experience such as apache or IIS
•Oracle and Sybase database experience
