Duration::12+months

Relevant Exp (Transition Manager) :-  3+years

*Technical/Functional Skills**   -*

1.        Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.

2.        Excellent organizational skills.

3.        3 years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience
required.

4.        Incident Management experience – Managing incidents including
business expectations and communication

5.        Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration

6.        Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with
emphasis on Windows 7 and Office 2007

7.        Self-motivated; Achiever who gains satisfaction from providing
excellent customer service

8.        ITIL foundation is mandatory.

MCP certification would be desirable.

*Roles & Responsibilities::*

1.        Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails on
IT issues and queries

2.        Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff via
telephone and email

3.        1st and 2nd line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems
from in-house software to hardware, such as phones, Laptops, PCs and
Printers

4.        Troubleshoot basic network issues.

5.        Escalate unresolved calls to the support team

6.        Logging calls/emails/self-service tickets.

7.        Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of
problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner

8.        To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support
queries and adhere to all service management principles

9.        Answering ‘Howto/Query calls’

10.     Provide stats for the weekly Service Desk report on call trends.

11.     Publishing support documentation to assist staff with requests for
information & provide staff training if required

12.     Basic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset
passwords, create groups etc.

13.     Smart phones / BB support.

To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved
in house. 3rd party interaction.
