-The DevOps Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting a cutting-edge appliance deployment suite that integrates multiple, diverse components into an elegant whole.
-Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the Product
-Develop automation using puppet, bash, python and/or perl to provide a self-deploying, self-healing media platform that scales from the development lab to supporting millions of users.
-Reduce deployment times from hours to minutes, and minutes to seconds.
-Implement automation in an extensible, supportable, and repeatable fashion, with a zero downtime for upgrades and maintenance.
-Provide top-tier support for QA, Development, and Customer teams.
-Work within fast-release Agile sprint cycle to support QA and Development efforts.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5-7 years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
3-6 years of experience with automation, with a focus on Puppet or Chef.
2-3 years of experience with DevOps methodology, preferably with real-world experience in a DevOps environment.
5-7 years of experience with scripting and/or programming, with a preference for Bash, perl and python. We prefer candidates who can provide code examples posted on Github, Bitbucket, or Sourceforge.
3-5 years of experience with virtualization. VMware is a must. OpenStack is a bonus.
2-3 years of networking experience, TCP/IP, routers, bridges, VLANs and load balancers. We prefer F5 load-balancers. |
