| Duties & Responsibilites : | • Client will provide Discovery and Definitions process and document results and gain Approval. • Client will provide a Design and Architecture of the application and gain Approval. • Client will assist in hosting a new DMVA Virtual Server with Microsoft SQL Server as the database backend and utilize current standards for the Microsoft Sever OS and IIS. • Develop the Application utilizing industry standards and Best Practices. • Deploy the Application to the new Virtual Server. DELIVERABLES: Deliverables will not be considered complete until the Agency Project Manager has formally accepted them. Deliverables for this project include: • Provide a Web Application to: 1. Establishing a new VM server to host the new DMVA State Tuition Website. 2. Create a new MS SQL Server database and table structure to store the data. 3. Use MICAM (Single Sign On) for creating and managing accounts to the DMVA State Tuition Website. 4. Provide National Guard Members a way to enter the application and submit the necessary paperwork. 5. Create a dynamic work process flow that can be managed by DMVA for application and reimbursement approval and deny processes. 6. Provide statistical reporting capabilities. DEPARTMENT STANDARDS: - Candidate must possess five years of in-depth knowledge and experience developing and working with Web and Mobile Web Application Experience. - Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field Information Technology (IT) field. - A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related Information Technology (IT) field is preferred, but not required. Skills Required Senior Application Engineer with 8 or more years of experience and five years experience. Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Degree, Type, Additional Education • .Net Framework • Mobile App Construction • Windows based Design/Development/Testing • Oracle database • Design/Development with Criminal Justice Systems/Data • Integration of Criminal Justice Systems/Data • Testing Documentation/Methods • Successful Projects to Completion • Familiar with Americans With Disability Act Requirements for Web Solutions. Skills Preferred: - Experience Required 5 years Experience in .Net Framework Windows based Design/development/testing Microsoft SQL Server Database - Design/Development with applying and approving work flow systems/data Integration of Work Process Flow of Systems Data Testing - Documentation/Methods Successful Projects to Completion Interview Process: In person |
