*Position : Firmware QA Engineer* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Phone and F2F* *Description* an immediate need for two *Firmware QA Engineers* for our *Atlanta*-based client. The Firmware QA Engineer will be responsible for delivering excellent firmware products to an international audience. This is a challenging and exciting position where you will conduct testing activities on firmware development projects. Responsibilities include the development and execution of test scripts and cases, the design and implementation of test environments, and the identification and management of issues for each development project. A solid understanding of networking and information systems Firmware QA is needed. *Primary Responsibilities:* - Develop test plans, tests cases, and /or automated test scripts. - Design and coordinate the implementation of test environments. - Develop test data, execute test plans, cases, and/or scripts. - Document test results and provide SQA test progress reports as appropriate. - Collaborate with firmware engineers in developing test cases for Unit and System Tests. - Manage user tests and coordinate with the Project team to take appropriate actions required to correct software defects. - Review user stories and work with business partners to refine the requirements such that they can be objectively tested. - Coordinate with engineering and development to establish a well-constructed testing environment. - Work closely with developers to ensure all aspects of the product are tested. - Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers. - Adhere to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. - Perform other duties as assigned or required. - Aid in creating and maintaining dashboards and webpages by providing metrics and other data relevant to current project status *Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any):* - 5-7 years of experience in a firmware Quality Assurance capacity. - Thorough knowledge of firmware Quality Assurance processes. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Knowledge of each phase of the Software Development Lifecycle. - Highly responsive to the problems of internal and external customers - Familiarity with the Agile Scrum development model *Regards,* *Kailash Negi **VSG Business Solutions* *221 Cornwell Dr,Bear, DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 Ext: 103* *Email: kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com> Gtalk : usrecruite *[image: View my profile on LinkedIn] <https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=120384244&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile> Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
