| Duties & Responsibilites : | Windows Architect - Provided architectural guidance and technical consulting in support of large scale application implementation projects. - Successfully worked with/managed outsourced data center providers and other key vendors. - Define and document technology standards that meet business requirements. - Strong technical background in all areas of infrastructure and services including data center, network, and end user technologies. - Worked effectively with business units translating their requirements into technical solutions. - In depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems as well as IBM server models. - High level knowledge of SAN/NAS architecture and data/voice network technology. - Strong background in Wintel server technologies as well as VMware and Citrix solutions. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - 10-15 years of IT infrastructure experience including 5+ years of Windows server administration and/or architecture. -Candidate must have extensive experience planning and implementing multiple concurrent infrastructure solutions in support of several businesses and/or functions. -Must be able to resolve complex problems, design solutions, and participate in strategy discussions and manage technical components of a project. |
