| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Only -The Web Developer is responsible for successful delivery of Web application interface solutions for NAPA’s Classification systems. Individual must be experienced in the development and implementation of Web applications. - In addition, individual should have an aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the business, and proactively using this knowledge to implement meaningful solutions. •Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal assistance from executive management •Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and execute efficiently •Demonstrated ability to work with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technology solutions •Demonstrated ability to construct project plans and meet scheduled feature, cost, and time goals •Ability to manage conflict effectively •Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves REQUIRED SKILLS: Java, _javascript_, UML, Frameworks and Web Services Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience. Full understanding of Object Oriented Programming - Hands-on skills in Java Web development. - Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and QA teams. - Experience with _javascript_. - Experience in UML modeling and use case driven development - Knowledge of popular open source frameworks Full understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies - Ability to work independently and as part of a team INTERVIEW PROCESS: In person |
