| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Only
Experience testing in a lab environment
• Network protocols and configuration commands relating Juniper, Cisco
o Must have experience with above enterprise-level routers (Cisco 7600, 6500 level-routers)
• Must have experience with traffic generators (IXIA, Agilent, Spirent)
• Solid understanding of IP routing and switching (BGP; ISIS or OSPF)
• Must be strong with VLAN
• Experience working is load balancers
• Strong communication skills and an ethic of open and honest collaboration across different groups
• Advanced documentations skills
• Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
• Typically has at least 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation
