Skills Required:

- Prefers candidates with PMP 
- Security certification, CISSP
- Must have experience reporting into a PMO, not looking for a Technical Manager 
- Must be Application Development focused
- Domain knowledge of Infrastructure operations and build out on Amazon Cloud
- Must have experience with Amazon Cloud, Amazon Web Services AND the security surrounding Cloud Development 
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong experience with MS Project, Daptiv (Nice to have), Rally (or similar tool)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Managing assigned projects utilizing all of the nine Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) knowledge areas. The PM is expected to have competency in at least seven of the nine areas and exhibit mastery in at least of the four areas. In addition, PMs are expected to bring domain area knowledge to each project.
· Technical Domain Area Knowledge - The PM is expected to contribute relevant technical knowledge to the development of the project solution and the project plan, surrounding Amazon Cloud/ Amazon Web Services Technologies. Domain area knowledge relevant to the target project space should include knowledge of the following: software development (waterfall and agile), software quality assurance testing, software technical specification development, Infrastructure operations and build out (on premise and cloud), packaged software implementation
· That domain knowledge is a crucial element to understanding the type of work that must be done, the intricate dependencies that exists, the usual order of events, the types of skills required and the dominate risks to the endeavor.
· Scope Management – Ensuring that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully. It consists of the defining, documenting and verifying scope as well as controlling scope throughout the project. Formal definition and clear communication to all constituents of what is in project scope and what is out of scope is crucial to successful project implementation.
· Schedule Management – Building and maintaining a detailed task based project schedule, fully elaborating all project activities and milestones and utilizing an effective estimating model to build a resource-leveled project plan. Resource Management – Acquiring project resources, maximizing the workload of those resources to the project to take advantage of resource availability, avoiding excessive use of overtime, providing timely and accurate resource plans to the resource allocation factory (RAF) and escalating resource issues as they become known
· Cost Management – Planning, estimating, budgeting, and controlling project expenditures and working with IT finance to plan project expenditures and track actuals in a method consistent with IT financial budgeting and cost accrual.
· Quality Management – Ensuring that the project will satisfy the objectives for which it was undertaken. Includes quality planning, performing quality assurance and quality control. Involves working with IT QA team members to ensure quality planning is comprehensive, but also not excessive. Involves verifying project deliverables and signing off on deliverables or managing the signoff of deliverables, including those delivered by third parties.
· Communications Management – Ensuring the timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, and storage of project information. It consists of the communications planning, information distribution, and performance reporting.
· Risk Management – Ensuring that risks to achieving the projects objectives are adequately managed. Includes risk identification, response planning and risk monitoring and control.
· Procurement Management – For projects involving the acquisition of hardware, software or outside services, the PM is responsible for using Radian’s defined processes for procurement and acquisition as well as RFP development, proposal evaluation and selection, and contract management.
· Integration Management – One of the greatest value added services of the PM is the smooth integration of all of the above mentioned planning and management activities into a cohesive project management plan and the consistent and persistent execution of that integrated plan to achieve the objectives of the project.
· Executing and managing PMO processes that support other project managers, project management processes, standards and templates
· Incorporation of project management best practices into PMO templates, standards and processes
· Working to facilitate IT resource management processes including the Resource Allocation Forecast process
· Participating in the demand management process including work estimation and project budget planning
