The Administrator will also be responsible for implementing and supporting off-the-shelf plug-ins for JIRA. The idea candidate would have experience with the Atlassian Suite JIRA is a proprietary application in that Atlassian Suite, among others, that Travelport is leveraging as a Requirements Management tool. *Main Accountabilities: (Outline a list of the main accountabilities for the role)* *Responsibilities include: *Serve as the technical and administrative resource administering JIRA 6.3 instances and formulating technical solutions using JIRA and associated JIRA plugins Identify performance issues and tune the system engaging systems personnel when necessary Independently create JIRA projects, templates, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, interfaces to other applications, etc. Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance Coordinate and perform upgrades of JIRA and associated plugin’s Create JIRA / plugin’s best practices Identify and develop reports for our user community Ensure adoption of development/workflow processes and address user questions Identify and help design integration points between JIRA and other systems Creation and implementation of report package from JIRA data Develop and maintain training materials on tools/processes and provide in person training as necessary Assist with other incidental tasks as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education: 2-4 years hands-on JIRA experience in an administrative and development capacity is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent Expertise in JIRA plug-ins is a plus Software development experience using SQL Server DB a plus Knowledge of Groovy Scripting language Knowledge of Velocity Language Good understanding of project lifecycle methodologies including Waterfall and Agile Proactive in recognizing, proposing, and implementing quality process improvements for the tool Advanced written and verbal communication skills Proven analytical and problem solving skills I'll be looking forward to hear from your end.
