• Serve as the lead resource responsible for the overall design and development of applications and systems.
• Define requirements and create architectural specifications.
• Provide leadership to client and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in all phases of design and development; mentor team members as needed.
• Help ensure projects are delivered successfully, on-time, and within budget.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues.
• Tune & address capacity issues of the MQ infrastructure.
Skills and Experience Required:
Mandatory Skills:
• 8-10 Years of experience with Sybase Database
• Experience with Sybase Performance Tuning (SPs, indexes, etc).
• Experience with MQ migrations (formerly IBM WebSphere)
• Experience with tuning & addressing capacity issues of MQ infrastructures.
• Ability to work independently
• Good written and verbal communications
