- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of System Analysis and Systems Configuration experience
- 5+ years of experience working in the different phases of development.
- 5 + years of healthcare insurance industry experiences, with knowledge of government run programs
- 5+ years of Relational Database experience
- 5+ years of writing system requirements
- Understanding of data gathering/analysis
- Knowledge of the Software(System) Development Life Cycle
- Experience working with test plans and test cases
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
Facets Experience in following areas:
- Hospital & Medical Claims - Be able to execute testing , troubleshoot issues and resolve claim errors
- Processing Control Agent - Able to set up PCA for claims/provider/benefit reasons
- Product Build - Able to take a benefit summary and be able to build a product from scratch. Creating all new components.
- Candidate must be able to lead and give direction on the best configuration approach when there are multiple options in Facets for configuration. Candidate needs to have enough understanding to outline the different ways to configure when applicable.
- Analysis on existing configuration and understand our configuration standards
- Take source documents, review and analyse to determine how to configure member benefits (product build)
- Write up a configuration summary document which outlines the request or benefit, the analysis as to what groups/plans need to be updated the solution as to how we will meet the requirement and then the detail step by step configuration.
- Needs to be able to run queries to support the analysis required.
