Below find the job description If interested than kindly share your updated resume along with filled in CIS attached here. *REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* *Position: RHEL Linux Systems Administrator * *Location: Rocklin, CA * *Duration: 6 Month Contract* Need background in KVM, Redhat (RHEL), Satellite Server, Linux, Scripting with Bash or Perl or Shell, Puppet or Chef. Needs virtualization experience. *Job: * - Automate the deployment of Linux and VMWare environments through our existing Puppet/Cloudbolt infrastructure - Build out new environments as needed for new projects within IT - Implement configuration management best practices to ensure consistency across nodes - Design and develop infrastructure and automation for large-scale deployments - Responsible for ensuring Linux security standards & work closely with Level 2 team to ensure critical vulnerabilities are addressed - Manage RHEL Satellite server and oversee server registration & patching efforts - Act as an escalation point for Linux support issues with the Operations teams - OnCall Support - Escalation from Level 2 team members, Operations or IT HelpDesk - Identifies, troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves complex problems in a timely manner without hesitation - Priority 1 and 2 ticket handling, root cause analysis and updating Business. - Vendor coordination on 3rd party issues. - Documents installation procedures for applications - Performing health check of the applications. - Provide extended support during Peak season. - Others - Adhoc Reports, Metrics collection, scripting, , DR exercises - May coordinate moderately complex projects. - Creates and/or maintains server inventory - Remains current on technology and trends affecting Williams-Sonoma's business and provides knowledge transfer and feedback as appropriate. - Maintains relationships with external suppliers and vendors. - Performs other duties as assigned. *Requirements/ Qualifications* - Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL preferred) - Strong troubleshooting skills - Experience with virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure Management - Experience with Linux package management and patch management - Experience configuring/installing/maintaining infrastructure servers - Strong working knowledge of Puppet, Chef, or similar technologies - Understands secure authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, NIS+, etc. - Experience with the automated deployment of systems, configuration management, systems management, and monitoring are required - Experience developing scripts using Bash, Bourne shell, Perl or equivalent - Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies - 5-7 years of related work experience. - Ability to work on project as a team member or alone as deemed necessary. - Must possess excellent communication skills and must keep management appraised of issues and problems and their resolution. - Ability to support key business critical systems on a 24x7 rotation basis. *Thanks & Regards,* *Swati Pandit* *Net2Source, Inc.* *15 Exchange Place, Suite # 500* *Jersey City, NJ - 07302, USA* *Email:swati.pan...@net2source.com <email%3aswati.pan...@net2source.com>* *Office: 201.340.8700 Ext: 506* *Gtalk&YM: svsswati8* *Website : www.net2source.com <http://www.net2source.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
