*Description:* - Over 10+ Years of experience in the IT industry primarily on Database Administration with SQL Server - Experience in administration of databases on production environments in distributed enterprise wide solutions - Experience in Capacity planning by analyzing the features like critical availability period of server, Financial cost to the company in case of a downtime in server, failover clustering support, Database size, Storage area requirement, RAID level usage - Experience in complete data modeling life cycle Conceptual Model, Logical Model and Physical modeling, as well as application of NoSQL solutions wherever applicable - Expertise in writing SQL Procedures, Functions, Index Views, Full-text Indexing - Expertise in SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 administration including activities ranging from performance tuning, optimization, Clustering, Replication, Log shipping, DTS, SQL Server Agent - Expertise in implementing replication in transactional, Snapshot and Merge models - Ability to design high availability databases, backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, business connectivity planning and performance fine-tuning - Exposure to reporting tools like Business Objects, Cognos - Used ETL tools for designing Cubical reports with Dimensions, Facts, Mappings, and Transformation support features on OLAP Databases - Well experience in using tools like SQL profiler, Event Viewer, etc. - Administered, maintained, developed and implemented policies and procedures to ensure security and enterprise wide data integrity - Adept at developing strategic plans in database implementations and working with large and distributed teams - Exposure to SAN (Storage Area Network) - Familiarity with current software design methodologies including agile (scrum) development process. - Experience with NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, GreenPlum, etc., with expertise in using Hadoop and other technologies to facilitate web scale performance in a SaaS environment *Experience & Background: * - Eight or more years of data architecture and/or system analysis and development experience. - Software experience required: SQL Server, and emerging NoSQL databases. - Candidate must demonstrate experience in delivery of complex systems in a wide range of technologies and must have experience with Windows, SQL, .Net, SOA, Web Services, Highly Scalable Architecture and systems. - Ability to independently translate business requirements analysis into technical design specifications and development. - Experience with full software lifecycle (requirements, analysis, design, construction, and testing). - Expertise with data architecture components. - Must be conversant in current industry architectural standards and best practices and able to drive technical/architectural vision. - Experience in construction industry software development a plus.
