-5+ years of development background (Back End but familiar with Front End as well)
-Key Technologies: VB.Net, Visual Studio, SQL, Stored Procedures, WCF
-The Technical Lead will own a piece of a large, complex program consisting of the re-engineering and integration of several web applications, reports and databases.
-The role will be responsible for analyzing, documenting and defining new requirements and solutions as it related to system changes on a mass scale.
-The lead will also provide high level design and development for the new solutions and direct a small team of on and offshore developers to execute the work.
-The technical lead will conduct daily stand up meeting with the teams, defining goals and objectives for the day, manage task level project plans for their scope of work and will conduct design, code and test reviews with the larger team.
-Work directly with the system Subject Matter Experts to gather and document as-is requirements
-Work directly with the system Subject Matter Experts to define the to-be requirements
-Create and/or complete functional specifications
-Create technical specifications and design documents for multiple WCF web services and web applications, including databases and reports
-Coordinates the development efforts of the developers on the project
-Coordinates with the project manager to ensure progress and communication through regular meetings and status reports
-Coordinates with the system SME to resolve all technical conflicts
-Conducts code reviews of all developer changesets
-Conducts daily standup meetings with development teams to drive daily goals and assess progress
-Develops code as required to meet project deadlines
-Conducts demonstrations of all completed changes during each development cycle to the system SME and stakeholders
-Participates in project and team meetings,interacting and collaborating with team members, the project manager, the system SME and stakeholders
Required Skills:
-General: 5-10 years of experience hands on web development, front and back end, in a Microsoft environment
-Experience creating, configuring and debugging WCF and SOAP web services hosted in IIS 7.5
-Experience consuming SOAP web services
-Experience working with complex, existing web sites and services
-Visual Studio 2010 or 2012
-Team Foundation Server
-C# experience
-VB.net experience strongly desired
-Experience with strongly-typed datasets (xsd)
-Experience using SQLCommand objects in code-behind
-MS SQL Server 2008 or 2012
-Demonstrated experience with Business Analysis, Project Leadership, and/or team leadership
-SQL Server, VB.NET, WCF
