Here is the brief job description I have:
The company has several SharePoint farms that are currently running
independently—one of the major initiatives is to consolidate their
SharePoint farms into one single environment/instance. So this person has
to be functional and technical (lean more functional then technical). They
will work with teams from 4 separate locations nationally to create the
roadmap and framework for the consolidation. Therefore, someone with BA/PM
experience is desired.
The day to day duties would consist of:
Navigating web applications, site collections and sub sites
Understanding groups, permission level and security
inheritances
Identifying webparts, workflows, and drop-off libraries
Control activated features like publishing and managed
metadata
Knowledge of PowerShell is a MUST
Must have functional expertise in interfacing with various
internal/external clients and other teams
