ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Transform system requirements and manual test cases into technical design and application testing code. - Apply critical thinking, experience, and research sources in the design and implementation of automated solutions which improve application quality, test case coverage and defect reduction. - Ensure compatibility of applications and databases with others via automated interface test scripts development - Recommend and adopt emerging technologies to ensure optimal performance of the applications. - Develop, maintain and implement standards and methodologies for automated scripting via selected technologies.. - Creation of system integration test cases - Ensure quality of all development deliverables through test case designing, development and coding of executable scripts. - Code scripts in a manner that they can be used and executed by others easily - Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to less experienced automation VB test script developers. - Analyze change requests to provide development and automation efforts and estimates - Perform other related duties as required.
