*Position: Oracle Middleware OSB Developer* *Location: Austin, TX * *Duration: 6+ months* *Commentary* The Middleware Senior Software Developer is responsible for the design and development of mission-critical enterprise applications using OSB / Web services / SOA. The Senior Software Developer will contribute to the design and delivery of solution frameworks which are highly scalable, performant, secure and ready for global deployment. He/She works closely with the Development Lead in delivering high quality code that meets the requirements within the agreed timescales. *The Role* · Design and development of mission-critical enterprise applications using OSB / Web services / SOA / Oracle Fusion Middleware · Development of detailed estimates for the technical tasks · Develop the code as per the coding standards and naming conventions · Perform code migration during various phases · Perform code reviews and prepare technical documentation · Review of the test cases with the testing team and re-work on defects to closure · Define initiatives to improve quality and/or productivity such as implementing automated test tools or new development methodologies within the team. · Work closely with Development Leads, Architects, Business Partners, Development Managers, Systems Analysts, Senior Managers and other members of the wider team to plan and deliver the design and implementation of software components and subsystem / applications. · Ensure audit & quality standards maintained across all technical areas. · Contribute to standards and processes to be followed during the software development lifecycle *Experience Required* · 7-10 years of application design and development experience in Java/J2EE technologies, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior developer in a demanding enterprise J2EE/SOA/Web services environment · Extensive Object Oriented Design skills using Java, J2EE, UML · Exposure to Enterprise Application Integration (middleware) technologies and techniques · Hands-on experience with and working knowledge of the following: o Designing for High Availability *24x7 data center environments* o *General SOA architecture, OSB (mandatory*) o Strong knowledge of XML, XQuery, XSLT & XSD (mandatory) o Web Services & Oracle SQL o Eclipse (desirable) · Proven experience of delivering quality solutions on a fast-moving business environment · Experience working with multi-cultural & multi-national software development team · Availability and willingness to travel to other DELL locations worldwide *Qualification:* Bachelors of Engineering/Technology degree in Computer Science or equivalent *Regards*, *Vijay* 972-756-1212 * 132 *|| GTalk*: vijay.smist* ||** YIM*: vijayinventit || -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
