*Contract Phone HireH1 are OK* Qualified candidates must be well-versed in data warehousing and ‘Big Data’ parallel processing technologies as well as the advantages, disadvantages and trade-offs of various architecture approaches such as Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). In addition, the successful candidate should have knowledge and experience with data management techniques such as Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality (DQ) management, Complex Event Processing (CEP), metadata management, text analytics and mining, in-memory processing, data profiling, micro-batches, streaming data loads, and Change Data Capture (CDC). The resultant large-scale analytics infrastructure must be high performing, scalable, highly available, robust and secure. This is a very technical and challenging position with accountability for an overall product portfolio’s performance and quality, and is also a leadership position requiring the ability to motivate, mentor and work effectively with other functional organizations. *Key Responsibilities:* · Recommend, architect, design and maintain a comprehensive data architecture (tools, technologies, data model, infrastructure, etc.) that supports large-scale, predictive analytics · Design and help develop ETL, replication schemes, and query optimization techniques that support highly-varied (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) and high-velocity (near real-time) data processing and delivery · Ensure the data architecture is optimized for large dataset acquisition, analysis, storage, cleansing, transformation and reclamation · Develop standards and methodologies for benchmarking, performance, evaluation, testing, data security and data privacy · Recommend and set goals for unified data management practices such as meta-data management, provenance management, governance, stewardship, data quality and lifecycle management · Perform impact analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning for the enterprise data warehouse and its infrastructure as source systems are added and new integration business rules and logic are introduced · Ensure the infrastructure adheres to architectural best-practices that meet and exceed security, scalability, performance, and maintainability requirements · Establish and enforce policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and metrics for data quality, metadata management, and master data management · Provide recommendations, technical direction and leadership for Hadoop and NoSQL technologies as part of the overall architecture · Manage and track costs against budgets and continuously improve productivity · Participate in regular status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner · Collaborate with Product and Project Management, Software Engineering, Testing, Quality Assurance, Operations, Client Services, and executive management to ensure meeting release schedules, goals, and objectives · Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of product requirements documents, technical design documents and functional specifications · Help create solutions that enable our CPG clients to make impactful decisions at their moment of need *Required Skills * · Four-year degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related degree program, or equivalent application development, implementation and operations experience. · Advanced study or degrees such as Master’s degree in Business (MBA), Masters, PhD., in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related scientific degree program is preferred · Working knowledge of application and system availability, scalability and distributed data platforms · Excellent communication skills, particularly those relating to complex findings and presenting them to ensure audience appeal at various levels of the organization · Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement · General knowledge of Complex Event Processing (CEP), text analytics and mining, and in-memory processing · General knowledge of hardware based solutions to support analytical data processing · General knowledge of object oriented design and development · Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results · Customer service and solution oriented · Extremely knowledgeable of industry standards and trends · Be able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills · Strong leadership presence.
