It's only a 3 month contract but they said it's a critical position. BA/BS in IS or Computer Science or equivalent education and experience. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for automating the load, conversion, transformation, and exception handling required for data migration from the current application into a new data model for a new leading health care provider enterprise system. Design, develop, implement and test new Extract, Transform, using Microsoft .Net 4.5, SQL Server 2008R2, SQL Server Data Tools, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Responsible for automating the load, conversion, transformation, and exception handling required for data migration from the current application and multiple external interfaces into a new leading edge medical management enterprise system Analyze source data and create a mapping and transformation plan for data migration Develop and deploy efficient and optimized SSIS packages to complete data mapping and migration Design and development of reusable solution to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability Interface with existing web service library to retrieve or submit data Interact with the business analysts and development team to establish file formats, required data elements, setup transmission, and delivery of files Create mapping documentation detailing fields and transformations from source and target systems Create design standards and documentation for reference by developers and customers Work with the architecture team to implement best practices and design patterns Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .Net framework (preferably version 3.5 and above) using C# language.
