Client: OptumInsight (division of United Health Group)
Role: Cognos Administrator
o Enterprise Cognos BI Platform Administrator, supporting multiple project
teams and over 4,000 users, including but not limited to server management,
release management, license management, and Cognos installation, tuning,
configuration and management
o Mentor junior administrators, providing assistance where needed
o Troubleshoot, evaluate and implement solutions for production support
issues. Ability to solve complex production issues (Tier 3 production support)
o Support project teams in standards, best practices, and methodology
throughout the SDLC, supporting all types of Cognos Studios
o Collaborate with project teams on BI architecture design and
decision-making, esp. with respect to data security

o Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience working with IBM Cognos systems as a developer,
architect, and-or administrator role

o Preferred Qualifications:
* Security expertise for externally facing, high-availability environments
* Site minder Integration experience
* with configuring and administering IIS 7.5
* Windows Server 2008 or 2012 administration experience
