The WAM/Federation/MFA Engineer is responsible for completing technical
deliverables on projects assigned.

Engineer for technical deliverables on moderate to enterprise size
Infrastructure Service Delivery or Client projects reporting directly to
assigned Project Manager, or staff resource responsible for completing
assigned deliverables on large scale global projects reporting directly to
the Infrastructure Service Delivery Technical/Team Lead.Responsible for
producing Infrastructure Service Delivery deliverables meeting or exceeding
benchmarks for quality and performance in accordance with the project
timeline and budget. Responsible for maintaining effective and consistent
communication within subteam, within broader team, within IE peer teams,
and with the resources in other IT groups.   Proactively raise issues to
Team Leads when necessary. Provides Level 4 support to Operations in the
field of expertise.

*Essential Functions of the Job:*

• Experienced technical knowledge in specialty area with basic knowledge of
complementary infrastructures.
• Develop and deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain adherence to architectural standards/principles, global
product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Provide support and documentation to assist in sustaining the project
during the transition to production.
• Adhere to Infrastructure Service Delivery methodologies and Enterprise
Architecture global standards.
• Provide feedback regarding Infrastructure Service Delivery methodologies,
standards and leading practices.
• Identify potential points of contention for missed activities and notify
project leadership of situation.
• Produce accurate, brief and clearly written documents tailored to
audience needs and expectations.
• Build positive relationships with internal professionals and client
personnel by demonstrating integrity and genuineness.
• Develop a diverse network of relationships with others that entail mutual
sharing of ideas, knowledge, and resources.
• Clarify roles and responsibilities collaboratively with team members to
improve their level of commitment and alignment with requirements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for leveraging information and
resources across assignments and teams.
• Minimize technical exposure and risk on projects
• Work closely with:
• Infrastructure Service Delivery Team/Group Leads to understand strategic
goals/objectives and translate into actionable plans
• Infrastructure Service Delivery Team/Group Leads to successfully
implement, use, and monitor BSC initiatives
• Infrastructure Service Delivery to build solutions as part of end-to-end
projects.
• Operations managers to effectively and efficiently support the project
during the transition phase.

*Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:*

team and management of the service
• Ability to make key decisions as they relate to service disruptions and
problems

• Ability to work with 3rd party vendors (i.e. Microsoft, Oracle, etc) for
escalation of service issues
• Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet
time and quality targets.
• Ability to rapidly absorb new technical information, business acumen, and
apply it effectively.
• Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in
relevant employment areas and how it relates to business activities

*Knowledge and Skills Requirements:*

• Solid interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to
operate as a contributing member of global technical teams that deliver
quality services.
• Strong technical skills designing, documenting, supporting, and
implementing infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with
groups outside of the immediate technical team.
• Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical
standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as
organizational structure.
• Experience in migrating from Siteminder R6 to R12.5x, including guiding
application remediation and testing activities.
• Engineering expertise and technical leadership experience in implementing
and supporting Federation technologies, particularly Siteminder.
Experience implementing and supporting other SAML-based Federation
technologies and/or Active Directory Federated Services is also a plus.
• Must be capable of integrating and supporting Siteminder in a complex
portfolio of applications spanning a broad technology spectrum, including
NET, WebSphere Portal, Sharepoint, and Class ASP applications, and Java
applicaitons.
• Must also be able to utilize SiteMinder to provide multiple
authentication levels so resources can be accessed in different ways, and
report usage statistics.
• Able to use SiteMinder API calls, develop custom Site Minder codes as
needed, and assist application teams in integrating various applications
with SiteMinder, reviewing code and recommending code or Siteminder
configuration changes as needed.
• Candidate should be able to collaborate with architecture, development,
operations, security, engineering teams to ensure quality design,
implementation, and performance of enterprise security solutions.
• Candidate should have experience working with SiteMinder APIs and
Siteminder ASA.
• The successful candidate will be expected to meet with application
engineers and solution teams to ensure that WAM modules are utilized before
developing further custom codes required for various application
requirements.
• Candidate should know how the Web Access Management products fit in an
enterprise architecture and fine tune according to various application
integration needs.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience of SAML, SOAP, Apache on Linux
and Windows, IIS release 6 – 8.5, Password Services, SiteMinder proxy
model,
• General knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, ADAM, , TCP/IP, DNA, Routers,
Load  balancers, Web Logic plug-in,  experience in Windows 2003 and 2008.
Windows 2012 a plus. Candidate should have knowledge of programming in ASP,
Perl, Java, & Shell/VB/Java scripts.  Candidate should have knowledge of
Websphere /Web Logic application server and plug-ins that provide proxy
server solutions/standard server solutions with SiteMinder.
• Experience with AuthMinder and RiskMinder implementation and
administration, with multi-factor and adaptive authentication scenarios
• Strong understanding of Web/Middleware security practices and tools.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, strong sense of teamwork,
and attention to detail
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
• Ability to work with virtual teams spanning multiple geographies,
cultures, and time zones
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English
