*Role: Project Manager* *Location: Hoboken, NJ, USClient: L&T* *Requisition Details:* The PM is responsible for managing the project from planning, execution through completion of redesign. All the full time project (employees, consultants) resources will be reporting into the project manager for the purpose of the project. The project manager should be comfortable working with senior level business executives. *Position Responsibilities* 1. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. 2. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. 3. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to the appropriate review team. 4. Effectively applies project management methodology and enforces project standards. 5. Continually monitor and manages risks and issues of the project. 6. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. * Key Skills: * 1. Strong project management skills are must. 2. Must be detail oriented and be willing to work long hours, if required 3. Have 4 to 6 years of managing projects using any standard project management methodology 4. Have multiple project management experience in managing at least 10 member project teams 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 6. Have meticulous planning skills 6. Excellent soft skills , ability to work with different personalities to get things done 7. Ability to influence team members in the right direction 8. Have experience in managing global / virtual teams 9. Experience in Java, J2EE and Websphere Application Server is must.
