· *Location: Houston, TX* · *Duration: 1 at 4-6 months and 1 at 9 months+* · *Start: As soon as identified* · *Interview: Phone* *Responsibilities* · Provide hands on BI reporting, specifically using TIBCO Spotfire · Participate in the requirement analysis with business users to identify and finalize requirements. · Create design document; perform hands on development and test script creation/execution (Unit testing) *Abstract skills* · Ability to identify how best to visualize a given data set and to create those visualizations · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills *Technical/Functional Skills * · Candidates should have at least 1 full project life cycle scoping, analysis, blueprint, realization, go live, post go live support, etc. · Primary skill: 3 + Years of experience in TIBCO Spotfire required · 7+ Years of IT experience in BI (Business Intelligence) reporting · Strong knowledge of Data modelling and Data warehousing concepts · Strong Business Intelligence skill set in creating complex Spotfire analytics and visualizations by using the key concepts filtering scheme, Data on Demand, Property Controls, Text Areas in TIBCO Spotfire reports using Tibco Spotfire Professional, Installation of Tibco Spotfire server. · Designing and developing the information links, Data Source, Columns, Joins, Filtering and Procedures. · Experience in o Creating dashboards and visualization by using the key concepts filtering scheme, Data on Demand, property controls, Text Areas. o Creating visualization using advanced Heat Map, Trellis, Scatter plots, Combinational chart, Line chart, Bar chart. Cross tables, Bar Charts, Line Charts and Tree map o Creating Dynamic Visualizations using Text Area, Input Field, Lists, drop down lists, Property, Document Properties, Web Links and On-Demand Data. o Publishing the developed End User Visualization/portals and managing the User Control and Access Level. · *SAP BW and Hana experience is a plus* · *SAP Data Services is a plus* *Note:* The developer will need to have demonstrated first hand interactions / success integrating with technical and business functions. This individual needs to have the ability to ‘PM’ a task by working somewhat independently under a stipulated/defined business design.
