*Position Data Analyst * *Location Dallas,TX(Locals Prefered)* *Duration 6+ Months* *(F2F Interview)* *Position Summary* Analyze and integrate business data on a project basis and a support role to provide integration for a complex data environment. The role will require the ability to extract data; analyze trends and patterns; along with document complex concepts to meet business needs. The analyst will need to interact with business users at all levels of the enterprise as well as work with data architects to design integration processes and deliverables. This role will also be responsible for support and deployment of designated integration tools, reporting tools, and troubleshooting production issues. Work documenting data mappings and sources in data dictionaries or other tools to collaborate with BAs or serve as the BA will be required. Cross functional team and department activities will be essential to this role to help meet support of reporting tools and project requirements. *Essential Job Functions* • Work with internal and external customers to analyze large quantities of data and develop reporting models and integration jobs, as well as perform data validation and ad hoc queries • Responsible for consulting with clients on business needs, translating needs into integration/reporting requirements, and interfacing with company and client to ensure successful delivery of client data • As needed, strategically design and implement customer facing BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses including gather requirements, design, and roll out BI solutions to end users and customers • Build and design data integration processes between systems as well as part of the data warehouse • Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software performance tune these applications as necessary • Maintain integration templates and coding tools appropriate to BI solutions for assisting with end user needs and requirements • Visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data • Statistics, data analysis, data-driven computation are all relevant areas to meeting end user requirements • Ability to develop and analyze complex data sets and understand their significance to the organization • Ability to interact with clients and understand business processes and data needs • Ability to work effectively with persons at all levels in the organization, portraying and explaining data in multiple formats *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Competencies Required* • Intermediate level experience with data integration tools (SSIS, Informatica) • Strong skills developing SQL queries and using SQL Server Management Studio • Ability to utilize information delivery/report writing tools (Cognos, SSRS, Excel, PowerPivot, Business Objects, Hyperion, SAS, Qlikview) • Advanced knowledge and experience in the development and usage of relational databases • Intermediate Skill level with in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Word) • Strong customer service skills and experience communicating with user groups • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Education or knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and processes • Motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule *Work Environment* • Professional Office Work Environment Minimum Qualifications • 5-7 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server SSIS and Microsoft SQL Server SSRS • 5-7 years experience Microsoft SQL Server development (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, etc…) • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Technical experience • Trained in ETL tools and practices • Strong Data Analytical skills reviewing results and business rules • Understanding of SDLC life cycle and support • Good knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse concepts • Willing to work overtime as needed to complete projects Preferred • Experience with Informatica a plus BestRegards, *Vara*|Recruiter Desk No: 972-756-1212 Ext: 133 *Email: varapra...@intellisofttech.com <varapra...@intellisofttech.com>* Gtalk: vara.itcs *Intellisoft Technologies Inc* *(A DFWMDC, NCTRCA Minority and Texas HUB certified Firm)* *Oracle Platinum Partner & Intel Software Partner* 1320 Greenway Drive STE 460, Irving, TX 75038 http://www.intellisofttech.com -- *Confidentiality & Disclaimer: The information contained in this electronic message along with any attachments is private and confidential and is intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s).
