Primary Responsibilities: Analyze, design, implement, test and document a new Patient-Facing Estimator web feature which will integrate with Passport’s “Passport Patient Simple” service via a SOA API. Design, develop, implement and test Web Applications and SOA integrations, using Java EE, Apache Axis 2, Spring, Hibernate and SQL Server 2008 R2. Interface with existing Web Service API to retrieve or submit data Develop database schema and structures for representation of application entities. Design and develop a high-quality, scalable, reliable solution. Interact with the business analysts and development team to establish and faithfully implement look and feel and desired functionality. Create design standards and documentation for reference by developers and customers Work with the architecture team to implement best practices and design patterns Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of experience implementing solutions with Java SE and Java EE technologies. Expertise in Object Oriented Programming and design patterns Minimum of 3+ years of experience with SOA integration using implementations such as Glassfish Metro, Apache CXF, Apache Axis2, JBossWS or similar. Minimum of 3+ years of experience with a Java-based web framework such as Spring, Spring MVC, or Struts. Minimum of 3+ years of experience with a Java-based data persistence/ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, and the JEE Java Persistence Architeture. Minimum of 3+ years of experience with HTML, XML, XSL, CSS, DHTML Minimum of 2+ years experience developing applications in PHP.
