Kansas City , MO Phone Hire SQL SERVER / DB2 DBA – *At least 5 years of SQL Server and at least 3 years of DB2 DBA experience DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for data base support of operational and data warehouse systems. · Installs data base changes into development and production environments. · Installs data base software. · Performs on-call duties. GENERAL SKILLS REQUIRED · Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or a related field. · Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. · Good analytical and problem solving skills. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED · At least 5 years of experience in data base administration for Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014. · Experience with installing and configuring SQL Server 2008/2012/2014. · Experience with migrating SQL Server data base changes from test to production. · Experience with SQL Server performance monitoring and troubleshooting. · Experience with SQL Server backup and recovery utilities and procedures. · Experience with SQL Server Transact-SQL. · Experience with SQL Server security.
