Direct Client Role: Project Manager Location: Coppell, TX Duration: 4 months Rate: $48.00/hr US Citizen/ Green Card Required Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager to successfully plan and execute projects within our PM3 team. The Project Manager works with both business and technical resources to manage efficient execution of approved projects. Responsibilities: • Manage projects which may include application development, infrastructure or IT process enhancements. • Work with Business partners to understand new business strategies and manage projects related to technical solutions. • Accountable for resource planning, developing schedules and cost/budget management. • Ensures that all project goals are accomplished according to specifications and business objectives. • Develop a project management discipline within Information Technology that helps with overall efficiencies and effectiveness. • Leads the effort to improve IT department project management methodology and discipline. • Takes a lead role in working with technical resources to develop standard processes, procedures and documentation. • Manage consulting vendor relationships, schedules and deliverables. • Proactively keep up with industry practices. • Management of multiple projects simultaneously – some of which will span across multiple business areas • Develops and maintains detailed project plans • Participates in IT department project resource planning events and maintains plans Required Experience: • Minimum 5-7 years managing projects in a technical setting • Experience with agile and service design methodologies is preferred • Proven history of successfully completing projects within scope and on time • Practical experience managing software development and/or technology-related projects. • Proven organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Visio. • Relationship-builder and collaborator—ability to drive consensus. • Self-starter with creative thinking and problem solving skills. • Understands the impact of systems and technology changes on the customer experience. ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation creation/delivery and meeting facilitation.
