*ONSITE POSITION* *Title:* Solution Architect. *Bill rate:* DOE *Visa:* GC, US Citizen, H1b, (Need Visa Copy) *Duration:* 6 Month *Location:* Springfield, MD *Essential Solution Consulting Functions:* • Development of high-level solution design, for applications & systems and evaluations. • Leads and/or participates in reviews of design concepts and creation of technical design documentation. • Developing initial estimates for solution alternatives and making solution recommendations to the business area. • Evaluations of existing applications for reuse and sharing in the enterprise. • Integrated systems planning and alternative technologies recommendation. • Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of current business processes and functional requirements and creating needed documentation. • Being Participates or acts as a project lead in the coordination of solution development and implementation. • Being a liaison between business clients and technical staff and/or with development staff throughout the development life cycle on complex projects • Participate in integrated systems planning and recommend alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall corporate and business goals. • Initiate, identify and coordinate the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as: new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment. • Participate in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications. • Develop the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements and resource costs. • Consult on the identification and definition of solution alternatives within the frameworks provided by Enterprise Architecture. • Identifies opportunities for solution sharing and reuse. • Identifies and coordinates with other project managers and implements schedule deadlines as appropriate. Advises clients on the consequences of actions. Communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client. • Participate in Enterprise Architecture integration, partnering and coordination activities. • Provide direction to clients in consulting, planning, and marketing multiple, complex automated systems. *Required Experience:* • Minimum 8 years of experience in application engineering, software development and deployment of large scale enterprise-wide applications across diverse geographical locations. • Health care payer/ Health Plan experience including membership & billing administration, benefits administration, claims processing, CRM, financial management and utilization management. • Experience in developing solutions for new health care payer product implementations. • Experience with software development methodologies, service oriented architecture (SOA), distributed architectures, data and information modeling, and transformation techniques. • Demonstrated experience in developing major system interfaces including the uses of messaging protocols. • Experience with presenting solutions and influencing the decisions of project sponsors and executive leadership. • Demonstrated experience in working with multiple IT groups in a matrix environment. • Working experience with HMO insurance. *Preferred Experience:* • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or other technical degrees • 5 years working experience in the health care industry • 3 years of experience with EPIC applications, Chronicles, InterSystems Cache,’ Cerner Laboratory, and GE Centricity Radiology. • Prior design experience with Rational System Architect, Rational Application Developer for Websphere, CA- ERwin Data Modeler, and Microsoft Visio. • Experience with SOA/Enterprise Application Integration • Practical skills with Java + J2EE experience, XLM, XLM-SOAP webservices, UML, BPEL/WSBPEL, Business Objects Report generation, Master Data Management + Data Warehouse design. -- Thanks and Regards, *Paul* Marketing Manager Global Systems LLC Office: 214-390-7324 | Email: p...@globalsyst.com <shek...@globalsyst.com>, Web: www.globalsyst.com Yahoo IM - paul_75038 Certified Woman-Owned (WBE) & Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) *We are very committed.
