We are looking for an Analyst/Data Scientist Vendor to help us measure, analyze and manage traffic/supply quality. Job Responsibilities: The job responsibilities include: 1. Implement new traffic quality metrics/measurements 2. Work on large data sets to support Ad-hoc analytical and investigation requests. 3. Support analytical work required for Network Quality initiative justifications and business impact Qualifications: • Bachelors in Computer Science, Statistics, or related engineering fields • Great Programming and Scripting Skills – SCOPE scripting experience, C#, and SQL queries experience. • Good Analytical Skills • Knowledge and experience in Online Advertising, Paid Search Technology will be a big plus • Knowledge and experience in Statistical Analysis, Data Mining, Web Mining, Machine Learning will be a big plus QUALIFICATION DETAILS: This person is needed ASAP. For the first part, the person will help in the implementation of a matrix. We have a team of developers who will work will work with the person for the matrix creation. This person will take over taking the Analysis, and will be giving deep insights in the data. Priority will be on the data analysis. Some analytical work. The ideal person will have online analytical experience and domain knowledge. This person will be working directly with the sponsor, and will be paired up with the development team. 10-20% of the time will be working with dev team, with the remaining time be working with analytical teams. How quickly they can pick up and learn new skills. How they understand the components of the project, to modify that script. The secondary part is the quality. What data this person is going to deliver. The third part is how this person will provide the insights in the data. This will be measured by the sponsor. 3-5 years minimum. Previous work experience in data analysis with experience with script pulls involving big data. For example, experience pulling scripts for COSMOS via SCOPE. TOP 3 must-have skills: a.) C# (C,C++ also accepted, but preference for C#), and SQL queries experience b.) To be able to use: Pivot tables, Power Bi charts, using SQL package tools. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS for example. c.) Data Analysis and insight with a focus on Online Advertising, Paid Search Technology domain. Should be able to tell a story of the data. To really understand online advertising.
